Named because of the black obsidian present in the vineyards, this Cabernet has a character all its own. A great mix of blue and black fruits mixed the feel of the skin tannin and the spicy Hungarian Oak tannin that leads to a dusty length. Big, yet focused with a layering of elements that keeps you coming back to the glass to see what develops next. Grown at 2,460' altitude and spends between 16 and 17 months in barrel. Solar powered winery.
