This wine is a wonderul expression of southern France. Bright, intense flavors with a clean and slightly tannic edge that's balanced by a clean acidity that keeps the Syrah from becoming heavy and ponderous and allows for those gorgeous dried flower and grilled beef fat nuances to come out. A great "bistro-y" wine that's very versatile and flavorful.
