This Syrah comes across more on the Northern-Rhone-style of Syrah than say a Santa Barbara Syrah or Southern Aussie Shiraz. Organically grown and beautifully defined red, purple and blue fruits are harmoniously expressed within this velvety medium-to-full-bodied wine. Even though it doesn't possess weight or density, the wine is intense in flavor and bold in it's balance. Wonderful, pure acidity keeps all that fruit defined and a mix of fine tannin and minerally notes give texture. The wine finishes with that distinctive charred beef fat on the finish. A perfect wine to pair with dishes ranging from pork to red meat or to just ponder it's beauty on its own.
